Starting anew.

Doubt anybody reads this, but what the heck...

Decided to start all over with this blog in the midst of lots of changes since the last post (which I've deleted):

1. JC life is over.

At least I hope it's over. Have taken the 'A' levels. Not confident of results.
2. Going to NS in, like, less than 2 weeks.

Haven't made the slightest physical and mental preparations yet.

3. Switched to broadband.

Had intended to stick to dial-up until the end of the 2 years of NS. Then SingTel sent a letter saying that they are terminating their dial-up service at the end of March next year. So much for my plans. Decided to take up their offer of a 1 Mbps (which I think is much slower compared to many others' broadband connections) for a little more than $30. It's so far so good for broadband (even though i've been online for less than 2 hours). Actually I don't think it's worth it because I'm the only one at home who surfs the Net and, since I'm going for NS, I doubt I'll be online that often. To make things worse, the contract expires before ORD...

4. Printers ran out of ink (both black and colour).

Decided against buying new cartridges for now. Kudos to NS (again) and the fact that my parents seldom use the com (or should I say laptop).

5. PC crashed.

Actually it happened about half a year ago, but it still has repercussions. The printer is still functional but I can't use it because it does not have a USB port. To make things worse, I had bought a colour ink cartridge which cost close to $50. It must have expired by now.

Some things don't change, though. I doubt I'll be making new posts until ORD.
